Can Jack and Kate Save the Day?

Just before Faraday went into the Others' camp and got shot by his mother (what a crazy bitch!), he explained the function of human variables in the big equation of time/history to Jack and Kate. In doing so, he explained he could prevent the Swan from bringing down their plane by destroying the Swan now with a hydrogen bomb. With Faraday dead, Jack and Kate are the only ones who can pass along his plan, or execute it themselves. Let's hope they can get something right for once.
